Great Western Recycling is proud to be sponsoring Sales Director Mark Bywater for his boxing match on Saturday 25th September 2021 in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Alongside Matt Rees, Mark has undertaken numerous charity fundraising events over the years. Mark has climbed Kilimanjaro for Anthony Nolan following a bone marrow donation to the charity, him and Matt have completed the 3 Peaks Challenge for Huntington’s Disease, and have both run multiple marathons.
The next fundraising event for Mark is an ultra white collar boxing match on Saturday 25th September 2021 for Cancer Research UK. The event will take place in Thornbury Leisure Centre from 4.30pm – 10pm. At the time of writing, over £16,000 has been raised for Cancer Research UK from this event!

Mark has never boxed before, but he has been training for most of 2021 in preparation. Since he began training, Mark has lost over 3 stone and is now in fighting shape for Saturday.
